Mike Dunn | President and Founder
After a 24-year career with AT&T and BellSouth as a major accounts lead, Mike Dunn and his outstanding team helped the same group of large customers stay happy and buying, productive, and on the bleeding edge of cost-effective technology his whole career. With one of the largest K-12 systems in the United States (#17), NC local governments, and higher ed, he and his team help young people and people in need behind the scenes. He became an expert in managing his team of customer service representatives and saw how he could replace his teaching and coaching tactics to greatly benefit all levels of CSRs, including non-college-bound entry-level customer service representatives.
After taking an early retirement package from AT&T/Bellsouth, he started Mutual Fund Marketing Service, where he started and still runs the #1 ranked mutual fund directory website in organic search in the world for the past ten years. During this time, he started writing and producing the “Customer Service Representative Certificate” online video course.
Mike was also a partner in a Charlotte-based managed IT cloud company and the executive director of an IT-related nonprofit (501c3).
The mission of Game Changing Business Skills.org is to enable non-college-bound workers, single moms, displaced workers, disabled workers, homebound workers, and workers without transportation to use focused business skills training to help them show why they can bring more value to the company. Plus, while on the job, they will learn how the extra step-by-step training will help them be more proactive and focused on the job to increase their chances of keeping the job over their peers. Finally, the training shows the exact steps to get promoted while their peers are still trying to figure out their current job. We say, “Our students are playing chess with their new careers while their peers are playing checkers.” Our students will KNOW they will know more about their job and business acumen than their peers. This gives them further confidence and less job stress on balance.
